CGE supplies energy to millions of customers across Chile through its electricity distribution and transmission networks, as well as its natural gas and complementary service operations. As one of the country's leading energy groups, CGE faced the challenge of managing complex financial planning processes spread across multiple business areas and subsidiaries.
The challenge was clear: how could CGE unify and modernize its financial planning process while overcoming the lack of traceability, the heavy reliance on manual spreadsheets, and the time-consuming effort required for data consolidation and reporting?

Based on a comprehensive design developed by Anaplan Gold Partner Keyrus, CGE chose Anaplan to transform the way financial planning and analysis are managed across the organization. The initiative aimed to replace fragmented, manual processes with a unified and scalable model that ensures a single source of truth for all financial information and enables seamless integration across the company's operations.
Working closely with Keyrus, the CGE team built a collaborative planning framework that centralizes data and standardizes methodologies across the organization and its subsidiaries. The implementation established clear governance flows, enhanced transparency, and provided real-time visibility of financial performance.

Beyond improving efficiency, the Anaplan implementation created a strong foundation for integration between all financial domains. Automated data flows now connect planning components across the business, significantly reducing consolidation times and improving control over the entire financial cycle. This scalable model also positions CGE to integrate future forecasting and demand planning capabilities as part of its ongoing digital transformation.
