Connected planning platform

Links procurement, treasury, supply chain, and FP&A on single platform

The time efficiency that we've managed to obtain allows our team to really move to the more value-added tasks. We went from Excel files that took 10 minutes just to open to over 100 gigabytes in Anaplan. The complexity and analysis that we're able to do has been a big win—the simulator allows us to do what-if scenarios which is extremely powerful and something we weren't able to do prior in Excel.

Finance Manager - Global Procurement at AB InBev

AB InBev, the world's largest brewer with $55B revenue and $30B annual procurement spend, faced overwhelming complexity managing procurement. Excel files exceeded 100 gigabytes equivalent, took 10 minutes to open, and broke when cell references failed. The procurement finance team spent valuable time on low-value reporting and fixing errors rather than generating insights.

Starting in 2016, AB InBev partnered with Keyrus to build connected procurement planning on Anaplan. The implementation began with Champions savings tracking, expanded to commodity and risk management (CTRM), and now includes supply chain financial data, service fees, and one-year planning—all interconnected on a single platform.

Results include significant time savings during monthly closing, freed capacity for value-added analysis, and powerful what-if scenario capabilities.
